IMG is a leading global sports marketing agency, specializing in media rights management and sales, multi-channel content production and distribution, brand partnerships, strategic consulting, digital services, and events management. IMG is seeking an experienced Live Assistant Producer to assist in producing Euroleague Basketball’s World Feed live output, ensuring that it is all produced to the highest editorial and technical specification.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Responsibility (in conjunction with the Producer) for delivery of the EuroCup (EC) and EuroLeague (EL) World Feeds on time to agreed specification.
  • To assist the Producer in defining the editorial content and direction of EL/EC World Feed.
  • To liaise with all broadcast partners regarding the production of EL/EC games and providing feedback as appropriate.
  • Produce live outside broadcasts from around Europe.
  • Producing the quality control room on game nights.
  • Responsible for material produced for game running orders, including graphics, VT, and sound.
  • Involvement in production of showpiece EuroLeague Final 4 live event and EuroCup Final.
  • Helping to produce media days.
  • Responsible for adhering to compliance guidelines for broadcaster/client as appropriate.
  • You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Experience as a Live Sports Assistant Producer.
  • Experience in edit producing programmes or VT inserts for live.
  • Experience in writing scripts and creating running orders for live sport programmes.
  • Experience in helping define the editorial content and direction of a programme.
  • Experience of dealing with Talent (e.g. commentators, sports stars).
  • Experience on a wide range of sports programming, including Live OB’s.
  • Experience in self-editing on Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Avid.
Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrates strong editorial judgment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Understanding of production workflows.
  • Ability to create original ideas and produce compelling content.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent research ability and attention to detail.
  • Shows initiative and prioritises workload without close supervision.
  • Maintain good client/broadcaster relationships where appropriate.
  • Proven organisational skills.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the time constraints involved in production.
Working Conditions
  • This is a full-time fixed-term contract role until 11th June 2027.
  • This role is based at our office in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
  • You will be required to travel internationally.
  • You will be required to work late nights on game days and may need to work over weekends, the festive period, Easter, and bank holidays.
