What You'll Do:
As a key member of the production team, you'll provide vital support across multiple productions from live studio shows to pre-recorded edited shows and even On-site operations on matchdays. From managing production administration, including invoice processing, cost-tracking and generating and submitting music cue sheets to assisting in multi-camera shoots and coordinating travel and accommodation for crew and editorial teams, you'll be at the heart of it all. You'll work closely with production managers, producers and assistant producers to ensure smooth post-production processes and support matchday filming and player interviews. With a focus on sustainability in TV production, you'll also help capture data for the Albert Certification. In addition, the role will require the following:
- Working Bank Holidays as needed
- Flexibility to work late shifts and weekends when required
- Occasional travel to shoot locations, as necessary
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- To provide key production assistance and administrative support for the editorial and production management teams across within the Premier League Productions Team.
- Production administration: invoice and timesheet processing and cost-tracking, using Fieldglass (CXC) system
- Working alongside the producer and self-editing assistant producer to complete post-production paperwork (scripts, stills lists, music cue sheets etc.) and uploading to the post-production archive system where appropriate
- Assistance in setting up multi-camera shoots; including booking crew, voiceovers, camera kit, travel, accommodation, locations. Creating call sheets. Occasionally you will be required to go on-site to ensure the smooth production of these shoots
- Liaising with the editorial team to collate onsite requests and inform the broadcaster services and access teams of requirements for matchday filming and player interviews
- Arranging travel and accommodation for editorial team and crew
- Being a point of contact for freelancers and suppliers
- Booking and scheduling staff/freelancers; including camera/sound operators, editors, assistant producers and post-production facilities
- Capturing data related to sustainable TV production (The Albert Certification process)
- You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job as directed by the Production Manager
You Will Have The Following Strengths:
- Previous administration experience
- Previous experience in a Production Assistant role
- Organising shoots
- Experience in creating call sheets
- Experience of dealing with Health and safety paperwork, and risk assessments
- Knowledge of archive/stills/music clearances
- Knowledge of budgeting
- Experience of processing invoices
- Experience of managing bookings and scheduling personnel
- Previous experience in a people facing role dealing with queries
- Appreciation for tv production processes (including pre, production and post-production)
