The Role and What You'll Do: The Experiential Production Manager role is a key role within the agency, you will sit within the Delivery Team and be responsible for the delivery of experiential/event production elements, build and technical, both in the office during pre-production and onsite at live events. Within this role you will work alongside all members of the project team on a varied range of projects that may include experiential marketing, events or hybrid virtual events as well as providing support to the New Business team on live pitches. A hard-working individual can progress from this role into a Senior Event Production Manager in a few years. This position plays a key role from experiential/event production brief to implementation, assuming the overall planning, execution and budgetary responsibility for each program. The perfect candidate must have above average organisational skills and be solutions oriented. They should pride themselves on being excellent in budget management, time management, multitasking, problem solving, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plans the full lifecycle of live, hybrid, and experiential events leading on all production elements.
  • Lead event execution, troubleshooting issues for seamless delivery.
  • Accountable for the quality and financial success of all production deliverables.
  • Manage budgets, suppliers, negotiations, sampling and production timelines.
  • Monitor and manage the project including creation of project plans and budgets as well as scope and changes to budgets.
  • Assist with recruiting, training and overall people management – coordinator(s), manager(s), contractor(s), tour and temporary staff as needed for the execution of each program.
  • Play a key role in a project team environment by managing deliverables to the delivery team members as well as client contacts.
  • Support senior members and mentor junior team members.
  • Manage project communications, ensuring that any issues, changes, or required performances that impact projects are documented and addressed with the key team members.
  • Source, establish, develop and actively manage relationships with key vendors providing for the best available resources within budget and overall project success.
  • Responsible for the procurement of all H&S / civic documents and all other permits/paperwork for events.
  • Document and learn all aspects of each project to assist in creation of manuals or in physical training of staff.
  • Maintain complete and updated project files with all project details and event information.
  • Experience working with planning tools (i.e., budget tracking, project timeline, logistics and deliverables schedules, event specs, meeting agendas and notes, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of experiential marketing / promotional events beyond basic knowledge and “how to” and ability to speak and strategise on staffing, training, logistics, execution and measurement.
  • Thorough knowledge of our industry, products and services, as well as those of our competitors and clients.
  • Meet deadlines, prioritise tasks, report on key accounts and deliver prompt and sound decisions.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to meet client expectations and budgets.
  • Frequent overseas travel required.
