What You’ll Do
Premier League Productions (PLP) is proud to be the production partner to the most watched football league in the world. We broadcast to serve over 100 broadcast partners, with our work available in over 900 million homes worldwide. Our high-quality output includes live matches, digital content, studio shows, promos, and magazine programming across multiple platforms.
As an Editorial Assistant in PLP’s Live Football production team, you’ll be central to bringing the game to a global audience. Your responsibilities include editing VTs, planning and researching features, and preparing content for World Feed delivery. On matchdays, you’ll be hands-on in the live gallery and studio, managing feeds, logging rushes, and distributing content in real time.
You’ll collaborate closely with Producers and senior editorial staff to ensure smooth live football coverage and keep broadcast partners updated. You will also organize ENG and feature shoots and ensure compliance standards are met, gaining experience across the full spectrum of live sports production.
This role is fast-paced and collaborative, requiring a passion for football and media to shape what millions see on screen.
Note: This is a fixed-term contract until May 2026 based at our facility in Stockley Park, Uxbridge. It will include regular weekend and evening work.

Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of PLP’s Live Football Dept production team across live gallery and feed outputs
- Assist in the editorial production (planning, research, editing) of VTs for World Feed
- Collaborate with Producers and senior staff to update and deliver relevant information/documentation to the department and broadcast partners
- Log, select, and distribute rushes via live feeds
- Coordinate and work in a live studio environment
- Organize and lead basic ENG and feature shoots
- Ensure compliance with broadcaster/client guidelines
- Perform any other duties within the scope of the role
Required Strengths
- Experience logging rushes and selecting material for edits/feeds
- Understanding of live gallery operations
- Excellent knowledge of the Premier League
- Good general sports knowledge
- Understanding of IPD and EVS systems
- Experience with non-linear editing systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience with various sports programming, including live OBs, highlights, documentaries, magazine shows
