These include the Madrid and Miami Open tennis tournaments and Frieze, a leading voice in contemporary art, as well as Barrett-Jackson, the Premium U.S. Collector Car Auction Company. MARI delivers unforgettable live experiences that connect people, inspire audiences, and shape culture.

The Mari team are seeking a passionate and innovative Creative Designer to produce conceptual and visual design initiatives across the business unit’s tennis event assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading visual identity development, producing high-level design directions for concepts and executing design through to production. The Designer will create social, digital and print applications, also covering experiential design, UI design, and will manage brand exploration & development activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver bold, business and consumer-facing campaigns, designing intricate artwork tailored to various on-event applications and social platforms, especially among mobile consumers.
  • Ensure that both strategic and creative goals are achieved at the highest possible levels.
  • Oversee the entire design process, from initial business unit brief to final delivery, ensuring quality and alignment with brand identity and project requirements.
  • Oversee the EMEA event brands and keep the events at the forefront of international event standards to support the growth strategy of the business.
  • Create attractive, next-level visual solutions for a variety of applications across print, digital, email, out-of-home advertisements and social content across all EMEA brands.
  • Create and implement design directions and deliver with meticulous execution.
  • Manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality, on-brand assets under tight deadlines.
  • Support the commercial team with B2B design needs, including partnership rights frameworks, pitch decks, hospitality packages, brand guidelines for sponsors and stakeholder communications.
  • Adapt creative concepts for both B2C marketing purposes and B2B commercial use cases, ensuring consistency across corporate, client-facing and consumer-facing materials.
  • Produce high-quality visual assets that enhance brand storytelling for partners, stakeholders and internal teams, such as case studies, recap reports, event wrap-ups and corporate marketing tools.
  • Ensure all design outputs meet strategic objectives, support revenue-driving initiatives and strengthen the presentation of the business in competitive environments.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro), Keynote and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Dropbox and project management tools like Wrike or Asana is a plus.
  • Strong command of design principles, including typography, layout, colour theory, photography and motion.
  • Familiarity with 3D and AI tools for creative development is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and collaboration skills—comfortable working cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, partnerships and operations teams.
  • Constantly research new ideas and contemporary digital/social and B2B design trends to elevate output across all business units.
The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent), with 3+ years of experience as a designer. They will also have demonstrated experience working on key digital platforms and in various mediums, with a strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual design ability, creative versatility and expertise. The Designer will be proficient in all industry-standard design applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.) and will have a thorough understanding of design theory, including principles such as colour, typography, texture, photography, motion and user experience. Strong communication skills paired with a collaborative personality and passion for tennis/sports and entertainment, as well as demonstrated project management skills are crucial for success in this role. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects and work streams at any one time.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to tight deadline demands, there will be, on occasion, a requirement to work extended hours.

Working Conditions:

  • Manager will be Creative Director, Mari Group (to be hired) with a dotted line into a member of the Tennis BU (Marketing Director, Tennis)
  • The work location is Chiswick Park, London.
  • This is a permanent contract.
  • Working hours are 9-5 pm with occasional work outside of working hours where necessary for the business.
