Overview

At IMG, the Customer Service Representative is referred to as an Assistance Coordinator. They are responsible for ensuring an excellent level of customer service and productivity with all inbound and outbound communication. Inquiries include answering benefit questions, updating policies, helping customers set up a new claim, and providing claim status on existing claims.

Job Details

  • Location: Position will start in-office during training. Opportunity to transition to remote upon successful training and eligibility; target: 6 weeks.
  • Start date of the class: Monday, Oct 27, 2025.
  • Must be willing and able to commute to the Indianapolis office daily until eligibility to work remote is met.
  • To work from home, individuals must have a designated workspace in a room with a door and high-speed internet.
  • Base Pay: $17.00 per hour plus participation in the monthly performance bonus plan if qualifications are met.
  • After training, 2nd shift schedules are available from 11:00am to 8:00pm.
  • Work schedule after training: 4 days per week with 1 weekend day.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. IMG will not sponsor employment visas for this position.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Answer and address a high volume of inbound communications (phone, email, online chat) in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining performance metrics, quality standards, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Provide professional and courteous outbound communications as instructed.
  • Document contact outcomes in the customer relationship management tool.
  • Availability to work some holidays and weekend days; flexible scheduling to support growth in the company.
  • Mentor and assist new employees when asked.
  • Assist in special projects or tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in a customer service role analyzing and resolving internal and external customer issues.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and navigate systems on dual monitors while on a call.
  • Global geographical and cultural awareness.
  • Enjoy working with people and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong stress management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual abilities (spoken and written) in a foreign language (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, French) are a plus but not required.
