IMG ARENA is looking for sports fans in the United Kingdom to collect live data from basketball games. You will work directly from your local stadiums. This position is NOT remote, so your presence at the venue is required to ensure accurate and timely data collection.

We collect key match statistics like timeouts, fouls, steals, blocks, defensive and offensive rebounds, and more. The number of hours depends on the season's games calendar. We need you to attend one hour before the match, the whole match, and around 15 minutes after.

Requirements:

  • Basic spoken and written English
  • Strong knowledge of basketball
  • Over 18 years old
  • Living up to 30 km from the city you are applying for
  • Technically savvy
  • Access to a Windows device with full HD screen resolution (1920x1080) to complete the training

You will receive €80 for each event covered, a freelancer agreement for 1 year with the possibility of extension, and financial bonuses based on data collection performance. You will be provided with a tablet, access to training materials online, and a travel expenses refund plan. Additionally, you will have free matchday entry with official accreditation β€” no need to buy tickets.

Conflicts of Interest: In line with International Betting Integrity Association Guidelines, we are unlikely to work with data collectors who:

  • Are a direct employee or work regularly as a freelancer with the federation organising leagues or clubs involved in leagues in which IMG ARENA collects data
  • Are an employee or freelancer involved with betting operations of a sportsbook company
  • Are an employee or freelancer involved with providing operational services, such as software, to a sportsbook company
  • Collect data for another organisation in the same leagues as which IMG ARENA collects data
