Our shows facilitate face-to-face business meetings between exhibitors (who include international hotel chains, convention bureaux, destination management companies and tech providers) and meeting and event planners. We are based in Brighton and Hove

Salary is up to £40k DOE with a yearly bonus of up to 13% of salary.
Role overview
- Working within the marketing planning function to ensure all show and brand campaign activity is effectively managed and delivered on time and to brief
- Manage integrated campaigns end to end, from initiation, through cross functional briefing process, content / asset creation to activation across marketing channels.
- Manage a single campaign calendar within our in-house work management tool, ensuring key initiatives are visible across the teams ensuring audiences have optimal engagement at every stage of their engagement with IMEX
- Ensure all campaign activity is tracked and reported, providing insights to inform future planning and decisioning
Campaign planning and execution
- Work closely with the Head of Show Marketing and Head of Brand Marketing to plan IMEX America, IMEX Frankfurt and all key brand campaigns ensuring key audience engagement both in and out of show cycles.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate campaign briefing meetings for all stakeholders ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities and understanding of key timelines and milestones.
- Capture and document content requirements by audience for all core campaigns, including visual and verbal parameters and ensure relevant teams are briefed to deliver to requirements
- Translate brand and show campaign briefs into detailed activity / delivery campaign calendars and task lists
- Co-ordinate the production and deployment schedule for all campaign assets, in line with agreed campaign plans.
- Manage the execution of brand campaigns to create and sustain recognition of IMEX as an industry leader, and drive engagement around key themes and topics. This will include integrated and always-on campaign activity
- Design connected, audience led journeys across digital channels. Work with inbound / outbound channel experts and be confident to support email / social creation and execution if required.
Brand and campaign calendar
- Manage brand and show campaign calendar to ensure campaigns are briefed and delivered on time
- Work closely with content creation and digital activation teams to ensure content is integrated across all IMEX channels.
Media partnership management
- Work with global media partners to ensure a strong global presence (using print ads, web banners, advertorials, newsletters) to support audience campaigns
- Oversee fulfilment of media partnerships (asset management and delivery) and ensure brand style guidelines and tone of voice are presented to external audiences
Performance Tracking and measurement
- Co-ordinate and capture the tracking of brand and campaign marketing performance and insights arising from periodic activity. This may include:
- Awareness and recognition of IMEX brand and IMEX shows
- Engagement with, and action from, brand and audience-led campaign activity
- Performance of key messaging and hero content
- Performance of specific digital channels and hero content identifying what works best for different audiences at different stages of the show campaigns
- Tracking of audience type engagement across specific initiatives
- Tracking of conversion rates across defined milestone campaigns, highlighting trend / changes in engagement patterns
- Tracking of ‘advocacy’ across audience / industry decision makers and influencers.
