Role overview:
IMEX Group is looking for a dynamic Social Media & Community Engagement Executive to create content & engage with our online community. The role will focus on day-to-day engagement, content creation, and trend identification to ensure IMEX maintains an authentic, always on presence across our platforms. You\’ll work closely with our MarComms team to align and amplify campaign activity across IMEX brand and throughout our Frankfurt show cycle (from January through to May)
Key responsibilities:
Community Engagement:
· Actively monitor and engage with IMEX\’s social communities across platforms – responding to comments on our channel and engaging with mentions and shares – engage in community led discussions. Escalation to Head of Industry Engagement & Partnership Marketing as necessary
· Content Creation & Activation
· Work with the Head of Industry Engagement & Partnership Marketing to update and maintain a content calendar across our social channels aligned with our overall show and brand campaign plans, and brand positioning / messaging.
· Create and publish engaging social content – posts, stories, articles, reels in line with agreed plan
· Collaborate with brand and show campaign team, and wider digital channel teams, to ensure content is ready for activation in line with campaign timelines
· Stay up to date with industry and audience trends – identifying opportunities for IMEX group
Reporting:
· Ensure all activity is activated in, and through, platforms that enable tracking and performance on activity – at a platform, campaign and time-period level
· Track, report on all social activity sharing across relevant planning, content and digital teams to inform future planning.
Skills & Experience:
· Experience managing social media platforms – especially Instagram and LinkedIn, experience with TikTok and YouTube is a bonus
· Strong content creation and writing skills
· Ability to analyse and report on social media metrics
· Collaborative mindset, able to work across marketing, digital, and campaign teams
· Experience in events, meetings or exhibitions industry is a plus
