Job Summary
Hours of work: 7.30am – 3.30pm Monday – Friday
Salary: up to £38,000 dependant on experience

Job Purpose
To supervise and co-ordinate the day to day activities within Drinnick Distribution centre in compliance with current legislation,including the responsibility of leading a team of storeman/drivers.
Roles and Responsibilities
To supervise and control the receipt, handling, storage and deliveries made to and from Drinnick Distribution Centre.
To locally demonstrate, lead and promote a safety culture, develop best practice in health & safety matters within the workgroup achieving compliance with statutory legislation company safety policy and EU directives
To locally demonstrate, lead and promote environmental performance of the workgroup to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 standards
To locally lead and promote the work groups performance within ISO 9001:2001 ensuring compliance to the quality standard across all work activities.
To ensure stock checks are carried out at Drinnick and the engineering satellite stores.
To carry out COSHH assessment and Risk assessment associated with stores activities.
Job requirements
Have a valid Forklift Truck Licence
Be experienced in overhead crane, slinging and lifting
Certified in IOSH or equivalent health & safety training
Proven experience in a stores or warehouse environment
Experience in a supervisory or team-leading role
Basic IT skills, including use of Google Suite
Full UK Driving Licence required
