We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to work within our existing team in Aberdeen. As a Systems Engineer within our Subsea Acoustics team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering advanced subsea acoustic and wireless positioning systems. Working across the full engineering lifecycle, you will contribute to innovative and field-proven technologies that are deployed and supported globally in demanding offshore environments.

Responsibilities
- Designing and delivering solutions to agreed requirements and specification.
- Supporting projects to meet customer deadlines and specifications.
- Able to respond to changes in these targets.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues as they arise during design, production and deployment of solutions.
- Provide technical expertise to sales and service departments globally.
- Proactively managing engineering improvements and driving continuous improvement.
- Taking responsibility for technical quality and contributing to on-time delivery within a high-performing team.
Skills
- Minimum BEng (Hons) Electronic & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in component and systems-level design with low-power analogue / digital / micro / COTS technologies.
- Relevant previous experience as an Electronic Design Engineer.
- Skills in C, C++ coding.
Desired, but not essential
- Knowledge and experience of a range of Subsea/acoustics products.
- Digital Signal Processing.
Personal Attributes
- A self-starter and highly motivated individual.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external departments.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects.
