Mission
The main focus for the Project Manager will be planning and successful implementation of projects within budgets and timeframes as a key team member of our Subsea Acoustic Systems group. Leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers, manufacturing personnel and suppliers you will be at the forefront of customer contact, ensuring all project stakeholder’s needs are satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivery of projects to deadlines and quality standards.
- Manage all financial and contractual aspects of the project, directing and controlling the work.
- Ability to maintain project plans and submit regular feedback on project status.
- Control of manufacturing, key partners and suppliers to achieve desired delivery.
- Participate in regular engineering resource planning meetings and strive to ensure efficient use of resources at all times.
- Be approachable and keep others informed, gain commitment and motivate the team.
- Be a part of our team that strives to develop & improve project execution and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Engineering bachelor degree or equivalent technical experience.
- Strong people skills, with a positive, constructive and cooperative personality.
- Sound experience within an engineering design and small batch manufacturing environment.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with internal & external clients and management.
- Experience in technical Project Management.
- Have the ability to work with minimum supervision, be self-motivated and driven, and use your initiative to deliver high-quality work.
- Hands‑on experience in one or more of the following areas would be desirable: subsea engineering, electronic design, oil & gas/energy industry, acoustic system design, defence/naval industry, systems integration.
- Competent in the use of MS Office and MS Project.
- Able to plan, organise, prioritise and handle multiple activities simultaneously.
- Willing to travel.
