Challenges

  • Plan and oversee the preparation and procurement of systems, components and documentation in line with internal and customer driven delivery schedules.
  • Ensure equipment and systems are verified to meet customer operational requirements.
  • Assist the Engineering department with the development of systems technology.
  • Provide the Sales team with technical support during bid preparation phase.
  • Provide technical support to Offshore technicians/operators and Manufacturing teams.
  • Assist with systems sustaining/obsolescence engineering when required.
  • Provide successful system demonstration, compliance planning and delivery to customers through FAT’s and acceptance trials.
  • Be part of our team that strive to develop and improve project execution and customer satisfaction.

Skills

  • Qualification in Electronic Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Strong people skills, with a positive, constructive and cooperative personality.
  • Sound experience within a technical engineering and small batch manufacturing environment.
  • Proven relevant experience – understanding of electronic circuits, systems and associated test equipment.
  • Have the ability to work with minimum supervision, be self‑motivated and driven, and use your initiative to deliver high‑quality work.
  • Hands‑on experience in one or more of the following areas would be desirable: subsea engineering, electronic design, oil & gas/energy industry, acoustic system design, defence/naval industry, systems integration.
  • Competent in the use of MS Office.
  • Able to plan, organise, prioritise and handle multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Willing to travel.
