Full-Time No working from home possible
I

We are looking for an experienced and delivery-focused Sr. Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of customer-facing mobile and digital technology initiatives.

The TPM will work closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, UX, QA, Release Management, Security, Risk, Platform, and other enterprise teams to drive execution from discovery and planning through build, testing, release, and launch.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical fluency, Agile delivery leadership, structured project/program management, and stakeholder management. The TPM will ensure delivery plans are clear, dependencies and risks are proactively managed, decisions are timely, and engineering teams can deliver with confidence and predictability.

The TPM does not independently own product strategy or technical architecture but must be sufficiently technically fluent to work effectively with engineering and architecture teams and drive complex technology delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Project & Delivery Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of mobile and digital technology initiatives across planning, build, testing, release, and launch.
  • Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans covering scope, milestones, sequencing, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and release timelines.
  • Work closely with Engineering Managers, Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, QA, and enterprise teams to drive execution and resolve delivery challenges.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, blockers, technical dependencies, and cross-team dependencies, ensuring clear ownership and timely resolution.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and provide clear visibility into progress, priorities, decisions, dependencies, and delivery forecasts.
  • Support scope, sequencing, and timeline trade-offs while maintaining alignment between Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain delivery traceability and execution discipline through effective use of Jira and Confluence.

Release & Operational Readiness

  • Coordinate end-to-end release readiness, including environments, version planning, feature flags, handoffs, launch dependencies, and distribution constraints.
  • Coordinate stakeholders during production issues and drive actions through containment and resolution.
  • Partner with Engineering and Operational teams to continuously improve release confidence, quality, and service stability.

Agile Leadership & Team Enablement

  • Lead and support Agile delivery practices including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, PI planning, reviews, retrospectives, and risk management.
  • Stay closely engaged with teams to understand delivery progress, surface issues early, and remove impediments.
  • Promote transparency, accountability, servant leadership, continuous improvement, and sustainable delivery.
  • Use delivery and quality metrics, retrospectives, and learning loops to improve flow and predictability.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, another technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical project management, program delivery, or software delivery management within technology and engineering environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end delivery of complex customer-facing software, platforms, or enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Strong experience working directly with engineering teams, architects, product teams, QA, and enterprise technology stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery practices, including planning, forecasting, dependency management, and scaled delivery.
  • Technical fluency with software architecture, APIs, integrations, engineering dependencies, quality risks, and software release processes.
  • Strong project management capabilities across planning, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, stakeholder management, and delivery governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams/workstreams and complex cross-functional dependencies in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Practical experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Must hold one or more recognised Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Agile Scrum Master, or equivalent.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience delivering mobile applications and large-scale enterprise technology initiatives
  • Experience leading and coordinating globally distributed engineering teams, preferably within the Financial Services or Travel domains
  • Familiarity with APIs, observability, SRE/service management, feature flags, environment management, and release coordination
  • Experience interpreting engineering delivery and quality metrics
  • Knowledge of security, privacy, accessibility, and non-functional requirements within regulated environments

Success Measures

  • Delivery plans, priorities, milestones, and ownership are clear and trusted.
  • Risks, blockers, dependencies, and decisions are identified early and actively managed.
  • Engineering and cross-functional teams remain aligned throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Releases are predictable, well coordinated, and delivered with fewer surprises.
  • Stakeholders receive concise, timely, and actionable delivery visibility.
  • Delivery metrics and retrospectives result in measurable improvements in flow, quality, and predictability.
