Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of customer-facing mobile and digital technology initiatives. The TPM will work closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, UX, QA, Release Management, Security, Risk, Platform, and other enterprise teams to drive execution from discovery and planning through build, testing, release, and launch.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical fluency, Agile delivery leadership, structured project/program management, and stakeholder management. The TPM will ensure delivery plans are clear, dependencies and risks are proactively managed, decisions are timely, and engineering teams can deliver with confidence and predictability.
Technical Project & Delivery Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of mobile and digital technology initiatives across planning, build, testing, release, and launch.
- Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans covering scope, milestones, sequencing, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and release timelines.
- Identify and proactively manage risks, blockers, technical dependencies, and cross-team dependencies, ensuring clear ownership and timely resolution.
- Coordinate end-to-end release readiness, including environments, version planning, feature flags, handoffs, launch dependencies, and distribution constraints.
- Partner with Engineering and Operational teams to continuously improve release confidence, quality, and service stability.
Agile Leadership & Team Enablement
- Lead and support Agile delivery practices including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, PI planning, reviews, retrospectives, and risk management.
- Use delivery and quality metrics, retrospectives, and learning loops to improve flow and predictability.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, another technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
~10+ years of experience in technical project management, program delivery, or software delivery management within technology and engineering environments.
~Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end delivery of complex customer-facing software, platforms, or enterprise technology initiatives.
~Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery practices, including planning, forecasting, dependency management, and scaled delivery.
~Technical fluency with software architecture, APIs, integrations, engineering dependencies, quality risks, and software release processes.
~Strong project management capabilities across planning, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, stakeholder management, and delivery governance.
~Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
~Must hold one or more recognised Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Agile Scrum Master, or equivalent.
Experience leading and coordinating globally distributed engineering teams, preferably within the Financial Services or Travel domains.
Familiarity with APIs, observability, SRE/service management, feature flags, environment management, and release coordination.
Experience interpreting engineering delivery and quality metrics.
Risks, blockers, dependencies, and decisions are identified early and actively managed.
Delivery metrics and retrospectives result in measurable improvements in flow, quality, and predictability.
