An Agile Coach guides an organization through the change from old ways of working to flexible, Agile methods. They train staff, fix blockages, and build high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and Mentor: Guide team members, Scrum Masters, and leaders on Agile rules and best practices.
- Remove Roadblocks: Find and fix systemic issues that slow down work or stop continuous improvement.
- Drive Cultural Change: Promote an Agile mindset focused on teamwork, learning, and self-organization.
- Facilitate Learning: Run workshops and training sessions on Agile principles and frameworks.
- Support Leadership: Help managers and product owners make better choices and build better delivery plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks like Scrum or SAFe.
- Strong communication, mentoring, and teaching abilities.
- Experience leading change or large Agile transformations.
- Problem-solving skills to handle complex team or company barriers
Must Have:
- BAU Tooling & Processes: articulate their experience with specific project roadmap or delivery tracking tools, which is a core requirement for our BAU work.
- Influential Capability: the persuasive and authoritative tone needed to effectively influence stakeholders in this position.
- Should have been long term on the project.
