About the Role

Imech Engineering Ltd is currently recruiting experienced Steel Erectors to join our team on a major industrial construction project operating under the NAECI Blue Book Agreement.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale energy infrastructure project with long-term work, competitive rates and regular overtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Erection and installation of structural steelwork.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Working safely at height using MEWPs and other access equipment.
  • Assisting with lifting operations and bolting activities.
  • Working alongside supervisors, crane teams and other mechanical trades.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with site Health & Safety procedures and project specifications.
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and productivity.

Essential Requirements

  • ECITB NVQ Level 3 in Steel Erecting (Mandatory)
  • CCNSG Safety Passport (Mandatory)
  • Proven experience working on large industrial construction projects.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
  • Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
  • Right to Work in the UK.

  • Fit to Work / Safety Critical Medical
  • IPAF
  • Working at Height training
