IMECH Engineering Ltd is looking for an experienced Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) to join our team on the Shotton Mill Project. This is a key role responsible for planning, managing and coordinating lifting operations in accordance with LOLER and BS 7121. We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent leadership skills, sound technical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Essential Requirements
- CPCS A61 Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) card (or equivalent recognised qualification) – mandatory
- Proven experience as an Appointed Person on industrial or heavy construction projects
- Thorough knowledge of LOLER, BS 7121 and safe lifting practices
- Ability to prepare lifting plans, risk assessments and method statements
- Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple lifting activities safely
- High level of responsibility, attention to detail and commitment to safety
Desirable
- Experience on large-scale industrial, energy or infrastructure projects
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- CCNSG Safety Passport
