We’re hiring: Client Intake Advisor (Family Law) – 4-day week, 100% salary, fully remote (with optional office access).
Looking for a role where you work directly with clients, make a real impact from day one, and still have time for life outside work? We’re IMD Solicitors LLP — a modern, multi-award-winning law firm, proud to be named one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work and ranked by Legal 500.
About the role:
You’ll be joining our Family Department as a Client Intake Advisor, working closely with family solicitors and partners and playing a key role in how clients experience the firm from their very first contact. This is not a call-centre role. And it’s not sales. It is a client intake and onboarding role and does not involve providing legal advice. You will handle new family law enquiries, guide clients through their initial options, explain our services and consultation process clearly, and help ensure that the right matters progress to our legal team. While every enquiry deserves care and respect, the role requires the confidence to prioritise time effectively, ensuring that complex and high-value family matters receive the depth of attention they require.
What this role offers:
- Develop strong client-facing expertise.
- Play a meaningful role in shaping the client journey at a critical moment in their lives.
- Progress and grow with the firm over time.
This role is for you if:
- You have experience in a client-facing role within a law firm or professional services environment.
- You’re comfortable handling sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
- You have strong judgement and commercial awareness.
- You can balance quality with efficiency and prioritisation.
- You value trust, autonomy, and doing things properly.
- Experience in family law intake or similar is desirable, but not essential.
What’s in it for you:
- Fully remote, with optional office access in Manchester, London, or Birmingham.
- Competitive salary and performance-related bonus package.
- Supportive, no-politics culture built on respect, honesty, care, and excellence.
- Autonomy and ownership from day one, with the right level of support.
- A firm that invests in systems and technology to improve how we work.
- Clear opportunity to progress, whether your long-term direction is towards a legal career pathway, or a client experience / customer success / intake leadership pathway.
Send your CV and a short introduction, and we’ll be in touch.
