Support Worker – Children’s Residential Location: Leicester (LE3 & LE3) Salary: £32,436 per annum (£26,436 base + approx. £6,000 sleep-ins) Shift Pattern: 1 on / 2 off – 8:00am–11:00pm followed by sleep-in (24-hour shift total) The Opportunity IMC Locums are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Support Worker to join a children’s residential home in Leicester. This is an excellent permanent opportunity for an experienced Support Worker seeking progression or looking for a new challenge. Key Responsibilities: * Support children and young people with their emotional, social, and educational needs. * Ensure a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. * Assist with care planning, safeguarding, and incident reporting. * Promote independence and life skills in line with individual care plans. * Undertake sleep-in duties as part of the rota. Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Childcare/Young People (essential). * Level 2 considered if currently working towards Level 3/4. * Minimum of 2 years’ residential childcare experience. * Confident car driver (manual preferred) – comfortable with motorways and night driving. * Clean DBS and valid Right to Work in the UK.
