About the Role
Health Now is recruiting experienced Complex Care Support Workers to join our Complex Care Bank in Oxfordshire, specifically for long day shifts. You will be supporting individuals with complex mental health needs within community-based settings, delivering safe, structured, and person-centred care. We have 1:1 and 2:1 packages available across the county, operating 7 days per week. This is a flexible 0-hour bank role, ideal for candidates seeking consistent long day shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist support to individuals with complex needs (CAMHS and/or Adult Mental Health)
- Deliver care in line with personalised support plans and risk assessments
- Support emotional regulation and behavioural management strategies
- Use appropriate de-escalation techniques when required
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation
- Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families
Essential Requirements
- Proven Complex Care experience within CAMHS and/or Adult Mental Health services
- In-date PMVA or MAPA training
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Availability for long day shifts
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities (LD)
- Previous experience supporting individuals with trauma backgrounds
