Health Now is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with CAMHS experience to join our Complex Care Bank in Oxfordshire. This role involves leading a dedicated 3:1 complex care package supporting a service user with a history of trauma and behaviours that challenge. The successful candidate will take clinical leadership of shifts, working alongside Support Workers/Carers to ensure safe, therapeutic, and structured care delivery. This is a 0-hour bank contract with shifts available across 7 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate shifts within a 3:1 care package
  • Provide clinical oversight and guidance to Support Workers/Carers on shift
  • Deliver trauma-informed, person-centred care
  • Engage proactively and therapeutically with the service user
  • Implement and review care plans, risk assessments, and behavioural support strategies
  • Safely manage and de-escalate behaviours that challenge
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
  • Liaise with families, external professionals, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Promote emotional wellbeing, stability, and positive outcomes

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration
  • Proven CAMHS experience
  • Strong experience supporting individuals with trauma backgrounds
  • Experience managing behaviours that challenge
  • In-date PMVA/MAPA (or equivalent) training
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within complex community care packages
  • Experience supporting young people with additional needs
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches
