Health Now is currently seeking experienced ASD Nurse Assessors to support a high-volume autism assessment project in the West Suffolk region. Our client is aiming to complete 88 ASD assessments by the end of June and requires a dedicated team of clinicians to support delivery. We are looking for 4 Nurses per day to support clinic-based assessments on an ongoing basis.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (NMC Registered)
  • ADOS-2 trained (essential)
  • Previous experience conducting ASD assessments independently
  • Previous experience working within Children's ASD Services
  • Strong clinical assessment and report writing skills
  • Experience working within neurodevelopmental or autism diagnostic services
  • Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary setting

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct children’s ASD assessments in line with NICE guidelines
  • Complete ADOS-2 assessments and associated clinical documentation
  • Participate in diagnostic discussions where required
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records
  • Deliver high-quality patient-centred care throughout the assessment process
