Health Now is currently seeking experienced ASD Nurse Assessors to support a high-volume autism assessment project in the West Suffolk region. Our client is aiming to complete 88 ASD assessments by the end of June and requires a dedicated team of clinicians to support delivery. We are looking for 4 Nurses per day to support clinic-based assessments on an ongoing basis.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse (NMC Registered)
- ADOS-2 trained (essential)
- Previous experience conducting ASD assessments independently
- Previous experience working within Children’s ASD Services
- Strong clinical assessment and report writing skills
- Experience working within neurodevelopmental or autism diagnostic services
- Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary setting
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct children’s ASD assessments in line with NICE guidelines
- Complete ADOS-2 assessments and associated clinical documentation
- Participate in diagnostic discussions where required
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Deliver high-quality patient-centred care throughout the assessment process
