Locum Band 8a Cardiac Pacemaker Physiologist (BHRS Accredited) Band: 8a Location: Liverpool Duration: Ongoing Working Hours: 4 days a week 8-5 Hourly Rate: Competitive IMC Locums are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Band 8a Cardiac Pacemaker Physiologist. The successful candidate must be BHRS (British Heart Rhythm Society) accredited and have substantial experience in cardiac device management. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive cardiology department, delivering high-quality care to patients with complex cardiac device needs. Key Responsibilities Perform and interpret follow-up assessments of cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) including pacemakers, ICDs, and CRT devices. Conduct device interrogation, programming, troubleshooting, and optimization in line with patient needs and clinical guidelines. Support and participate in implant procedures for pacemakers, ICDs, and CRT devices as required. Provide technical expertise during complex device follow-ups and procedures. Analyze and report electrocardiographic and device diagnostics data accurately. Educate patients and healthcare staff on device management and function. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care. Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, clinical guidelines, and departmental protocols.
