Our Trading Reliability Engineering team plays a critical role at the heart of our complex environment. Making sure that we can release daily in a safe and controlled manner is a vital responsibility, as well as ensuring high availability, stability and performance. The team works closely with traders and a wide range of technologists such as developers, systems engineers, network engineers and performance engineers in a diverse technical landscape. One where many components interface and manage a high-volume data flow over a low-latency infrastructure to execute our trading strategies.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and providing quick response to production issues but more importantly solving the root cause of problems in a structural way.
- Helping eliminate downtime using the latest open source technologies, translating trading requests into concrete technical requirements, and working with focus teams to create and implement new sustainable solutions.
- Coordinate, prioritize and plan the changes to our trading software to ensure smooth exchange migrations and quick time to market for new features and software.
Your Skills and Experience
- 2+ years of experience as an SRE or System Engineer or DevOps Engineer or MLOps Engineer.
- Python and Bash scripting skills.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of the Linux Operating System.
- Experience with building and maintaining Machine Learning pipelines is a plus.
- Experience with database querying.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
- A knack for troubleshooting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and a strong drive to learn and develop yourself.
