Salary: Β£13.15 per hour + 12.07% rolled-up holiday pay
Hours: Casual / Bank Contract (Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and holidays)

We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and resilient Casual Children's Support Workers to join our friendly team at our 4-bed children's home in Winsford, supporting children and young people with autism and learning disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to help children develop independence, build confidence, enjoy meaningful experiences and achieve their personal goals within a safe, nurturing and supportive environment.
As a Casual Children's Support Worker, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and support tailored to each child's individual needs. You will help create a positive home environment where children feel valued, respected and empowered to thrive.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Supporting children with daily living activities and personal care where required.
- Encouraging participation in education, hobbies, social activities and community opportunities.
- Building positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
- Promoting independence, communication and life skills.
- Supporting children to manage behaviours that may challenge through positive and proactive approaches.
- Maintaining a safe, caring and structured home environment.
- Completing accurate records and reports.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, schools, health professionals and other agencies.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with autism and learning disabilities.
- Ability to work flexibly across a range of shifts.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
- Experience in residential care, preferably with children.
