About the Role Provide day-to-day support to adults with autism, assisting with personal care, social activities, and skill development to promote independence.

Implement individualised support plans, monitor progress, and report any changes in behaviour or needs.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and families to create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment.

Attend training sessions to enhance skills and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices.

Experience in social care or working with individuals with autism is desirable but not essential.

A caring, patient, and reliable attitude is required, along with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, adhering to our values of Understand, Empower, and Aspire.

Basic literacy and numeracy skills are necessary, and a willingness to learn and develop professionally is essential.

Requirements A caring, patient, and reliable attitude with a genuine interest in supporting adults with autism.

Relevant qualifications in social care, or willingness to complete.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with individuals, families, and colleagues.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.

Basic literacy and numeracy skills to complete records and follow support plans accurately.

Willingness to learn, attend training sessions, and develop professionally within the role.

Experience in social care or working with individuals with autism is desirable but not essential.

Commitment to promoting independence, dignity, and respect for those supported.

Ability to observe, monitor, and report changes in behaviour or needs in a timely manner.

Flexibility to adapt to individual support plans and the varying needs of service users.
