Being a Strategic Consultant at iManage means you will be a legal technology thought leader, working within our global Business Innovation Team, driving program strategy, process, collateral development, and change. Your primary focus will be on emerging technologies, positioning iManage consultants as the advisors of choice for legal solutions, influenced by your ability to understand and drive success for end users of iManage solutions.

You have broad, cross-disciplinary skills, with elements of business strategy, product use, product technical, consulting, and customer success. Your prior experience as a legal professional underpins your business relationships with a rich domain knowledge of sector working practice. You understand the legal industry decision-making process and the guidance required to reach a conclusion.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as an iManage ambassador and facilitator with internal leadership teams, customer management teams, and end-users.
• Overseeing the development, documentation, and scaling of best practices for a given iManage technology.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders, Professional Services, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Sales functions.
• Planning consulting engagements to establish a shared understanding of customer requirements and business philosophy.
• Communicating strategic advice to senior stakeholders.
• Conducting product demonstrations and delivering knowledge transfer sessions.
• Becoming a leading subject matter expert in iManage technologies and the wider legal technology landscape.
• Mentoring and developing skills in junior consultants.
• Providing feedback on product usage and features requested at customer sites.
• Empowering teams within iManage to develop a rich understanding of lawyer needs, mindsets, and practices.

Qualifications include:

• 3+ years of experience working as a lawyer or 5+ years of professional experience in a legal environment.
• An understanding of the legal technology landscape and market.
• The ability to build trust with demanding organisations such as law firms.
• Excellent business analysis skills.
• Experience in design methodologies, e.g., persona identification, user research, and process mapping.
• Prior experience conducting discovery, design, and implementation of legal specific solutions.
• Excellent client-facing skills, including workshop planning, delivery, and documentation.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Direct experience working on iManage solutions.
• Experience rolling out and building adoption programs for legal AI solutions.
