My client are looking for an experienced CNC Turning Machinist/programmer to join their existing team based on the outskirts of Bradford Centre, to work a 7.30am - 4.30pm shift.

Responsibilities

  • Programming, setting and operating a range of CNC machines (XYZ Vertical Machine Centre, VMW, XYZ RLX 555 Lathe)
  • Accurately setting machines right first time
  • Carrying out self‑inspection of work to ensure quality
  • Maintaining alignment with company core values

Qualifications

  • Proven CNC machining experience
  • Able to programme using G‑Code, ProtoTrak or CAM
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety and workplace standards
  • Good communication and timekeeping
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Self‑motivated and proactive
  • Flexible and open to change

My client is looking for a candidate that is conversant with new XYZ machines, however they are happy to train a candidate with other CNC experience, who has the right attitude towards learning, and is looking for a long term career. My clients team is small, and close knit and this role is required due to expansion and influx of work, so a candidate with the right character is essential, as they are looking to build a team for the future of the business.

Package

In return my client are offering an annual salary up to £42,000 depending upon experience. Working a 40 hour week Monday - Friday - 7.30am - 4.30pm. My client also work on an emergency call out rota, which you would need flexibility to attend break downs outside your working hours, which would be paid as overtime.
