The role requires a suitably experienced individual to work at its Hope Street base. With approximately 350 staff members, this role will play a vital part in supporting our day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing reception duties
- Directing telephone and email messages
- Logging IT issues
- Maintaining personnel files
- Assisting with recruitment activities
This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to supporting the organisation's mission and values. The post will have a recruitment focus, with the post-holder acting as the central co-ordination point for all recruitment activity.
Applicants must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, or equivalent, and should possess GCSE English and Mathematics at ‘C’ grade or equivalent. Skills in using Microsoft Office products and experience of using HR systems as well as a good level of IT literacy are essential. The post will involve working closely with managers and staff members, as part of a team and requires good interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work independently, in an organised and flexible manner, as well as to handle confidential information with discretion, and in line with GDPR, is essential. Previous experience of working in an admin role (1 year minimum) is essential, ideally within an HR/recruitment team. An awareness of mental health, inequality and social inclusion would be an advantage.
