This role is a key part of the UK People & Culture team providing generalist People & Culture support to the whole of the UK business in a variety of different areas. This is an exciting role that will touch all points of the employee lifecycle. Our P&C Advisor will work closely with the business in a number of ways, from onboarding, induction, to managing family leave, employee relations, payroll & benefits administration, L&D, offboarding and exit. Current legislation knowledge is extremely important along with a good understanding of policies to ensure our employees have a good experience and receive information at all times. Our P&C Advisor will work closely with the small UK based P&C team which consists of our Senior P&C Partner, Head of Employee Experience & Talent Partner. Our P&C Advisor will have administrative work alongside broader P&C tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior People & Culture Partner and Head of Employee Experience with all employee-related tasks.
  • Managing the entire onboarding and offboarding process including probation management and Right to Work Checks are complete.
  • Be the first point of contact for employees and managers with regard to queries.
  • Manage Family Leave queries and end-to-end process.
  • Support with Employee Relations, managing cases end-to-end with the support of the Senior People & Culture Partner.
  • Carry out exit interviews with leavers, analyse response data and report key insights back to the P&C team.
  • Support and participate in Imagination’s DE&I activities, working with internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting management on implementing the Global GrowForward programme in the UK, coaching on goal setting, performance improvement and capability.
  • Working with the P&C team to ensure accurate payroll and benefits are administered.
  • Managing our HRIS, HiBob, ensuring accuracy at all times.
  • Proactively provide timely input on people analytics, data insights, and reporting as required via the HRIS, HiBob.
  • Issuing all paperwork for employees and ensuring HRIS is up to date with all documentation and data to accurately input to payroll and reporting.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • CIPD qualified or have relevant equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of UK Employment Law and Employment Practices.
  • Well versed handling maternity, paternity/partner, adoption & shared parental leave from end to end.
  • Sound working knowledge of employment law and demonstrable experience of resolving sensitive employee relations issues (performance, conduct and capability) both informally and formally.
  • Having worked with multiple HRIS in order to manage employees and keep their information up to date (Ideally HiBob).
  • Payroll and Benefits administration experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible and used to managing multiple deadlines.
  • High levels of empathy and emotional intelligence.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an inclusive and professional approach to sensitive matters.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
