This is an important position within our strategy & creative teams. You’ll have the insight, curiosity, clarity and energy to help develop groundbreaking strategies and ideas, pushing Imagination’s creativity and delivering inspiring, award‑winning work for our clients.

Reporting to the Strategy Director, you will work with other strategists and creatives to develop strategic insights, ideas and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the lead strategist in planning and executing multi‑layered research: primary, secondary, ethnographic, quantitative and qualitative.
  • Develop clear, compelling insights that can drive inspiring creative platforms and groundbreaking ideas.
  • Develop customer journeys.
  • Identify and qualify strategic opportunities.
  • Develop concepts, ideas and solutions.
  • Support and contribute to planning, running and synthesising workshops.
  • Support in developing clear measurement criteria, working with data to report on effectiveness, develop insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with clients in presentations, pitches and workshops—building valued relationships.
  • Bring a diversity of thought, experience and perspective into the Imagination team.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Experience in planning experiential marketing, campaigns, social media, content and events.
  • Previous experience in an agency environment.
  • Understanding of creative and design methodologies.
  • Understanding of Design Thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken form, able to convey ideas simply.
  • Experienced at designing and executing research—quantitative and qualitative.
  • Knowledge of customer journeys and user journey planning.
  • Knowledge and understanding of emerging digital, social, commercial technologies and trends.
  • Dynamic, self‑motivated, open‑minded and down‑to‑earth approach.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Creative problem solver who can approach client issues in new ways.
  • Collaborative approach.
  • Have a point of view; be enthusiastic, coupled with tenacity, resilience and influence to turn strategy into tangible, practical plans for clients.
  • Understanding of technologies and their impact on user experiences, browser and mobile technologies.
  • Understanding of cultural trends and how they impact audiences and brands.
  • Experience across lifestyle, fashion, luxury or automotive.
