Description

Imagination is a global experience design company, founded on the principle of independent creativity. Our finance team is integral to the success of our work. This role will work closely with UK Commercial Directors and Senior Client Team preparing and managing complex client project budgets.

We offer hybrid working with 3 in-office days (one of these will need to be in London and the other two in Coventry).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversight and Management of UK WIP
  2. Working closely with UK Commercial Directors & support with requirements
  3. Working closely with Senior Client Team in the preparation of client project budgets
  4. Liaise with project team members to ensure that all client budgets are up-to-date and registered correctly in Maconomy.
  5. Monitor and advise the Project Managers of projects financial ‘health’ and the overall Work-In-Progress status.
  6. Management of jobs within Maconomy – ensuring the correct status and availability to register cost & time entries
  7. Undertake an efficient client project reconciliation process working with the project teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  8. Preparation of client budget reconciliations for ‘final’ review with the Commercial Director.
  9. Project revenue forecasting and reporting.
  10. Management of P&L for individual Clients as required.
  11. Work closely with the Commercial Director to ensure that all financial matters are up to date and presented in a clear and concise way.
  12. Schedule regular WIP review meetings with Commercial Director and advise of any projects that require action or additional management input.
  13. Management and mentoring of Commercial Finance Analysts to support their development in the team.
  14. Preparation of ad-hoc project financial information as requested by UK Commercial Directors.
  15. Prepare management information and analyses where requested.
  16. Provide support on Maconomy to Account team members and other non-finance employees.
  17. Accurate and timely monthly posting of revenue into Maconomy.

  1. Experience working within the Commercial side of the finance team
  2. Agency experience
  3. WIP experience
  4. Excellent communication with non-finance professionals
  5. Project revenue forecasting and reporting
  6. Experience with forecasting and reconciliations
  7. Be able to complete large scale reconciliations
  8. Excellent attention to detail
  9. Desire to investigate and analyse the accounts
  10. Ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance teams.
