The Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled 3D Motion Artist with a strong bias towards cinematic 3D animation. You’ll be working on premium commercial projects where attention to detail, lighting, realism, and animation within CG scenes or live action back plates and storytelling are critical. This is not volume work—we’re looking for someone who cares about craft, can interpret a brief intelligently, and consistently delivers work at a high standard.
Requirements
- Create high-end 3D animations for product, advertising, and branded content
- Translate creative direction into polished, production-ready visuals
- Develop strong lighting, materials, and motion to achieve photoreal or stylised realism
- Collaborate closely with our team (remotely and occasionally in person)
- Manage your workflow professionally to meet agreed timelines
What We’re Looking For
- 4–5+ years’ experience in 3D motion/animation
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong 3D animation craft (ideally product or commercial-focused)
- Advanced understanding of lighting, rendering, materials, and motion design principles
- Proficiency in tools such as Cinema 4D, Blender, Redshift/Octane, After Effects, Unreal Engine (not essential)
- Solid working knowledge of 2D motion graphics (supporting capability) and camera tracking
- Reliable, organised, and highly professional in communication and delivery
- Based in Kent, with the ability to attend on-site sessions when required
Bonus (Not Essential)
- Experience with product visualisation and advertising workflows
- Familiarity with real-time pipelines (Unreal Engine) is an advantage.
- Ability to contribute creatively beyond execution
