We are seeking a talented and motivated Image Analyst to join the Light Microscopy Facility within the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge, UK.
Key responsibilities include :
- Conduct image analysis and data interpretation of image acquired using advanced microscopy techniques.
- Collaborate with researchers to develop and implement customized image processing solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and training to facility users on image analysis software and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- PhD with significant experience in image processing and analysis.
- Proficiency in image analysis software (e.g., ImageJ, FIJI, CellProfiler, QuPath, Imaris, etc).
- Programming or scripting experience.
Team and Environment:
- You will support users of the light microscopy facility to enable the quantitative and reproducible analysis of the images acquired in the facility.
