Business Unit The S3 HR and Management Line follows a "User‑Focused and Employee‑Oriented" philosophy and employs a three‑pillar HR organization model. By offering "productized services and marketized management," the S3 HR and Management Line provides comprehensive support for developing Tencent's organization, talent, and culture, enabling employees to grow with the company.

What the Role Entails

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for game development teams and studio leadership.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support global expansion and business growth.
  • Provide expert guidance on organizational design, talent management, and workforce planning for international operations.
  • Develop and implement onboarding programs tailored to international hires and cross‑cultural integration.
  • Drive talent management processes for global teams.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters across different cultural and legal environments.
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging work environment that supports diverse international teams.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives that resonate across global teams.

Who We Look For

  • 5+ years of progressive HRBP experience with significant international exposure.
  • Proven track record in the gaming industry, preferably with experience supporting game development studios.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting distributed/remote international teams.
  • Deep understanding of international employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and HR analytics for international operations.
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse international teams.
  • Experience with game development lifecycle and understanding of studio operations.
  • Background in supporting creative/technical teams in fast‑paced gaming environments.
  • Knowledge of gaming industry trends and talent market dynamics.
