This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Medical Writer, located in the UK (preference) or remote. The Senior Medical Writer will be responsible for preparing a range of high-quality documents such as imaging charters, site guidelines, reader manuals, and other clinical trial documentation. You will also participate in the development of imaging specifications for the product team to support eCRF development.
The role includes understanding clinical protocol, specifically imaging sections, research and discussions with the radiology team about the scoring systems, synthesizing medical and radiology data, and ensuring all content adheres to regulatory and publication standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including clinical professionals and project managers, will also be a key component of daily responsibilities to drive drug development projects forward efficiently.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Medical Writing and Imaging Endpoints in Trials
- Hands-on Experience with writing imaging charters
- Ability to research and advise on the use of medical imaging endpoints in trials
- Ability to ensure all content complies with relevant regulatory and ethical standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
- Advanced degree (e.g., MSc, PhD, or equivalent) in life sciences, medical sciences, or a related field
- Proficiency with medical writing technologies and tools
- Ability to use AI to support you
- Familiarity with drug development processes and clinical trial methodologies
