This is a full-time hybrid role for the Head of Software Delivery & Engineering. You will take executive responsibility for managing our global team that delivers the technology back-end and frontend solutions, image viewer and radiology reading systems powering DYNAMIKA, the industry-leading medical imaging platform for clinical research. This blended leadership role combines end-to-end delivery management, regulatory documentation oversight, global team enablement, and strategic roadmap input to support drug development for major pharma, biotech, and research clients worldwide.

The role involves hands-on involvement and oversight of the software development team, managing project lifecycles, releases and documentation to ensure timely and high-quality software delivery. The Head of Software Delivery & Engineering will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and align delivery with business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years’ leadership in regulated software/clinical or imaging SaaS, with experience in CSV/CSA, SDLC (agile & waterfall), and cloud-based delivery.
  • Hands-on in software development team management, system validation, documentation, and regulatory preparation.
  • Experience leading hybrid/global teams—outsourced and internal.
  • Strong acumen in clinical, imaging, or healthcare tech (DICOM/PACS/EDC a plus).
  • Experience in creating and implementing Software Roadmap and IT strategy to align with organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in clinical research organization or bio-pharma data management is a plus.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle and operational management of clinical, imaging, and SaaS platforms, with responsibility for feature launch, sprint planning, and compliance.
  • Lead delivery of new features, overseeing multi-team development (engineering, QA, DevOps, validation) using Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, predictability, and regulatory compliance (21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, ICH GCP, GDPR, SOC2, Annex 11, GAMP 5).
  • Develop and maintain delivery roadmaps and release plans; monitor risks, dependencies, and progress to ensure targets are met.
  • Apply computer systems validation (CSV/CSA) and pragmatic risk-based documentation for all software and technology platforms.
  • Manage and empower teams and external vendors, set KPIs, and drive delivery of validated, scalable, and innovative imaging solutions.
  • Lead system qualification, validation, and documentation for computerized systems (URS, FDS, risk assessments, IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • As needed, support the technical lead during sponsor audits and regulatory inspections; ensure continual audit-readiness and robust CAPA management.
  • Oversee change management, configuration management, and traceability protocols.
  • Manage structured communications, progress updates, risk escalations, and alignment with product roadmaps.
