IMA is a creative agency that builds brands people want to be part of. We are seeking a passionate and trend-aware Senior Designer to join our UK team on a Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you will bring expertise across all aspects of design, leading with inspiring ideas and strategic thinking to craft visually impactful solutions. The role
As a Senior Designer, you will report to the Associate Creative Director or Creative Director. You will lead the creative development for various projects, ensuring ideas are supported by strong rationale and delivered to the highest standards. This contract position requires a self-starter who can confidently present work to senior stakeholders and clients while maintaining a focus on brand strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Setting key visuals as required for your respective team to maintain design excellence.
- Participating in pitch presentations when required to support agency growth.
- Demonstrating good conceptual and creative thinking in your work with ideas supported by strong rationale.
- Interpreting and developing client briefs alongside colleagues and Client Services teams.
- Creating multiple design options that are both on brief and delivered on time.
- Introducing your own ideas and direction while presenting creative concepts to internal teams in an articulate manner.
- Confidently presenting and selling your work to Design Directors, Creative Directors, and clients.
- Working with the wider studio team to deliver high quality creative solutions at a steady pace.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience of delivering and winning client pitches at a senior level.
- Excellent knowledge and awareness of brands and branding strategy.
- A solid grounding in design principles and an excellent eye for execution.
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Ability to design and create brand identity systems and comprehensive guideline documents for others to follow.
