IMA is a creative agency that builds brands people want to be part of. We are looking for a passionate, commercially minded Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic client services team. The Role
You will support the delivery of integrated creative, retail and shopper marketing projects from briefing through to completion. Working closely with Account Managers, creative teams, production partners and clients, you will help turn business and marketing objectives into well-managed, effective campaigns delivered on time and to a high standard. Clients will include, but are not limited to, those from the gambling, gaming, and weight loss industries.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Client Support: Build trusted day-to-day relationships with clients, respond to requests, share updates and ensure actions are followed through.
- Project Management: Coordinate multiple projects across creative, retail, shopper and digital channels, managing timelines, milestones, dependencies and deliverables.
- Briefing: Help develop clear, accurate creative and production briefs that translate client requirements into actionable direction for internal teams.
- Campaign Delivery: Support projects from initial brief and planning through to creative development, amends, approval, production and final delivery.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with Designers, Artworkers, Strategists, Producers and external suppliers to keep work moving and resolve issues promptly.
- Budget Administration: Assist with estimates, purchase orders, supplier costs, invoicing and budget tracking, escalating risks where appropriate.
- Quality Control: Review work and deliverables for accuracy, consistency, brand compliance and alignment with the approved brief before they reach the client.
- Meetings and Reporting: Prepare agendas, take clear notes, circulate actions and provide regular status updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Relationship Development: Identify opportunities to improve the client experience and support Account Managers in developing existing relationships and new opportunities.
- Agency Contribution: Share knowledge, improve ways of working and contribute positively to the wider agency culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous experience in an account executive, account manager or client services role, ideally within a creative, advertising, retail or shopper marketing agency.
- Agency Knowledge: A good understanding of creative development, production processes and the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Organisation: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders at the same time.
- Communication: Clear, confident and professional communicator who can build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers.
- Commercial Awareness: Comfortable supporting budgets, estimates, purchase orders, invoicing and scope management.
- Attention to Detail: Thorough and accurate, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining brand standards.
- Problem Solving: Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to identify risks, raise concerns and help resolve challenges.
- Technical Skills: Confident using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, with experience using project management, workflow or client relationship management tools.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change and deadlines are important.
- Education: A degree, diploma or relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field is preferred but not essential where proven experience exists.
