Job Hours: 15 hours a week, split across 3 days (5 hours per day). Hours will be scheduled in advance with the Case Manager.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Support the client in engaging with hobbies and interests, such as visiting local restaurants.
- Encourage the client to be more active, including gym visits and dog walking.
- Assist with paperwork and organisation.
- Maximise the client’s opportunities and promote independence.
Employment Relationship: Applicants who are successfully recruited will be employed directly by the client or by the client’s Deputy appointed by the Court of Protection. ILS will manage day‑to‑day employment and provide the support necessary to carry out the role, including a dedicated Case Manager to oversee client care needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with individuals who have difficulties with motivation and initiation.
- Experience in working with disability.
- Willingness to use specialist equipment; training will be provided.
- Comfortable working in the client’s home and sensitive to the client’s and family’s needs and wishes.
