Position: Carer/Support Worker/Client Recruitment

Remuneration: Β£15.00 per hour Weekdays; Β£16.00 per hour Weekends

About The Role

  • Days & Hours: 15 hours a week, flexible across the week. This is a bank arrangement, with hours planned in advance. Extra hours may be available during school holidays or to cover absences.
  • Driver Required? Yes
  • Using Own Vehicle? Yes β€” business insurance required; mileage paid
  • Accommodation While on Duty: Mobile home
  • Pets: 2 rescue dogs at home

About Me

Hi, I’m Dean β€” and I’m Looking for a Buddy/Support Worker! Dean was born in 1999. He is seeking a friendly, reliable, supportive person to increase independence. Interests include woodwork, stunt scootering, live music, nature, skate park, beach, surfing, climbing, and spending time with his mum. He sustained a hypoxic brain injury at birth and is hearing impaired; wears hearing aids and lip-reads well. Needs support with daily living tasks and to try new activities, while continuing hobbies like skateboarding, surfing, swimming, and woodwork.
