EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER At Ilmor, we specialise in the design, simulation, development and manufacture of powertrain systems, electronics, and software for Motorsport, Automotive and Marine applications. We are innovating at pace in the development of high efficiency, race, and production ready, ICE and EV solutions for both land and sea.
You would be working for a business which is highly invested in technology, at the forefront of engineering developments and in an environment which truly has a family feel and everyone knows your name.
We are growing our pool of talent for exciting new projects and are looking for Software Engineers with Simulink embedded coding experience, combined with a passion for Engines and Powertrains. You can expect your skills to be deployed across a diverse range of racing and high performance non-racing powertrain projects. You will join a team of innovative Engineers and will work with some of the world’s top Motorsport and Automotive brands.
You should be able to demonstrate:
Experience in embedded Simulink coding for real-time embedded applications.
A good degree in Software, Electronics or a related subject.
Experience with simulation and use of HIL systems.
Experience interfacing with hardware in the form of actuators and sensors.
Experience working with electronics hardware engineers during integration and support phases.
Familiarity with common vehicle communications protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, Flexray.
Experience with Simulink coding for the Bosch CCA environment would be advantageous.
