Our Team's Vision: As a Commercial Account Representative, you will be a key contributor to Illumio's commercial sales growth. You will build relationships with mid-market clients and partner sellers, exceed sales quotas, and drive strategic initiatives that align with our cybersecurity mission. We are seeking adaptable individuals who thrive on exceeding goals year after year. Joining our sales team means collaborating with top-tier professionals who are passionate about pioneering zero trust segmentation.

Your Impact:

  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for an assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan with a target prospect list and regional sales strategy.
  • Build and nurture an ecosystem of partner sellers and SEs who are excited about Illumio and actively selling with you.
  • Partner with marketing and inside sales teams to generate pipeline and qualify opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospects and partners.
  • Lead ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer business needs and aligning Illumio’s solutions to their IT roadmap.

Your Toolkit:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Commercial Account Executive or equivalent role within the IT industry.
  • Deliver compelling “teaching conversations” that are well tailored to each prospect’s situation.
  • Able to engage with urgency and capitalising on all potential channels to sell Illumio.
  • Proven success in exceeding revenue goals and new customer acquisition.
  • Experience selling with partners and managing a network of partner sellers.
  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity market and Zero Trust principles.
  • Executive-level relationship management and CRM hygiene.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed support organization using virtual specialists.
  • Willingness to travel 20–50% depending on business needs.
  • Successful track record of successful selling to the C-suite (all lines of business) with a strong rolodex of contacts in region.
  • Experience in a fast-paced company with the ability to adapt as needed.
