Formed in 2013 and based in Manchester, the company has grown rapidly to become one of the most respected event and interior transformation services in the UK and internationally. We have further plans for growth! Within the UK headquarters is housed an award‑winning design team together with complete production and logistical facilities which enable us to create turnkey solutions for events and interior venue fit‑outs and refurbishments. A key element of this is our ability to build bespoke items according to specifications that meet the client’s vision.
Overview
We are already experiencing an increase in demand for our services and as a result we are looking for skilled joiners to join our team. You will be working in a team and will play a crucial role in creating and setting up various structures and elements for events.
Requirements
- Proficient in carpentry techniques and joinery, ideally 2+ years
- Experienced in using all types of hand‑held power tools and carpentry machinery
- Experienced in using woodworking hand tools
- A knowledge of materials and techniques used in the theatre and construction industry
- Experience of working with electronics within built items
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM operations and an ability to troubleshoot and resolve construction issues “on the fly”
- Ability to interpret and work from design plans and blueprints
- Organised, with an ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
