Illuminated Thinking is a specialist private psychology practice in Glasgow offering therapy, assessment, and medico-legal work. We're one of the largest clinical psychology practices in Scotland and we're expanding our clinical team and looking for an Associate Clinical Psychologist to join us for in-person work based in Newton Mearns.

The role involves carrying a caseload of therapy and/or assessment work depending on your areas of competence, with clinical autonomy and the administrative side handled for you by our admin staff. We use well-built practice systems, so your time goes on clinical work rather than paperwork. Sessional hours with scope to grow as the caseload builds.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least two years’ post-qualification experience
  • Is comfortable with in-person delivery in Newton Mearns
  • Wants to do good clinical work in a practice that takes both quality and practitioner wellbeing seriously
