A respected professional body is expanding its commercial team and looking for an experienced Product Developer to lead the development of new training, CPD and membership products. This is a strategic, creative role focused on product innovation, design and lifecycle management — not training delivery. You’ll work closely with subject‑matter experts, content specialists, policy teams and commercial colleagues to build products that meet the evolving needs of professionals across all sectors.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identifying market opportunities, skills gaps and emerging themes across the profession
  • Developing product concepts, value propositions and business cases
  • Designing new learning and membership products, including CPD modules, short courses, digital resources and toolkits
  • Working with SMEs and content teams to shape high‑quality, engaging materials
  • Coordinating pilots, user testing and product refinement
  • Supporting go‑to‑market planning with marketing and commercial colleagues
  • Monitoring product performance and driving continuous improvement
  • Contributing to a growing, ambitious commercial portfolio

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience developing training, qualifications, CPD or membership products
  • Strong understanding of professional bodies, awarding organisations or regulated sectors
  • Ability to translate insight into commercially viable product ideas
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder‑engagement skills
  • Comfortable working with data, feedback and market research
  • Creative thinker with a commercial mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Experience with LMS platforms, digital learning tools or competency frameworks is a bonus.
