I’m working on behalf of a leading professional membership organisation embarking on an ambitious business transformation programme. As part of this journey, they are seeking a proactive and strategic PMO Lead to join their team and ensure the successful delivery of a growing portfolio of projects.

This role is central to shaping and embedding a project management culture that supports revenue growth, futureproofs qualifications and training, and drives forward a digital-first strategy. It’s a brilliant opportunity to influence positive change from the heart of a respected institution.

What You'll Be Doing

  • You'll act as the engine room of the organisation’s project delivery, ensuring consistent governance, clarity, and communication across a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives.
  • Designing and embedding a tailored project management methodology.
  • Leading PMO governance frameworks and maintaining core delivery materials (plans, registers, schedules, budgets).
  • Supporting teams with business case development, resourcing, and benefit tracking.
  • Monitoring budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, and driving project accountability.
  • Coordinating project reviews, surfacing risks, and managing interdependencies.
  • Championing stakeholder engagement and knowledge sharing across the organisation.
  • Supporting and guiding teams through project lifecycles with a focus on quality, agility, and results.

What We’re Looking For

  • You’ll bring a blend of technical know-how and people skills, ideally including:
  • A recognised project management qualification and hands-on experience in similar-sized organisations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong budgeting and financial tracking experience.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft tools, including Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Confidence in leading meetings, preparing reports, and influencing at all levels.
