Head of Membership – Employee Share Plan Relationship Specialist Permanent London / Hybrid £75,000pa Illuminate is working on this exciting role where you will have an opportunity to lead on Membership services for a highly successful subsidiary of one of the leading London based Chartered Institutes. You will line manage and develop two established team members whilst focusing on the growth and development of this business. What will you be responsible for? Business Development and Relationship Management: Lead the growth of membership and services. Promote their products and services. Identify and recruit new members to achieve growth objectives. Represent the organisation across the UK. Develop sponsorship opportunities and manage major sponsorship allocations. Contribute to annual budget and business plan preparation. Handle complex membership queries. Technical Expertise and Promotion: Act as a subject matter expert on share plans. Convene and manage focus groups and the advisory panel. Support policy and external affairs, liaising with MPs and government departments. Implement and oversee social media strategy. Produce and manage content for monthly member newsletters. Oversee the production of the Annual SAYE & SIP Report. Speak at functions and external events. Collaborate with other industry bodies and stakeholders. Event Oversight: Develop and lead the yearly programme of conferences, events, and the awards dinner. What skills and experience will you need to thrive in this role? • Knowledge of Employee Share Plans in some form is ESSENTIAL • Understanding of the structure, operations and strategy for a membership body • Technically proficient especially in using spreadsheets and powerpoint • Experience of managing and motivating a small team • Track record of experience in the share plans industry – experience of the management of share plans would be beneficial • Experience of business development and brand and event management • Ability to be a public voice and a highly visible presence • Excellent organisational, planning, prioritisation and time management skills • Relationship building, networking and negotiating skills • Excellent verbal and written communication and research skills • Proven people management and leadership skills and experience • Ability and willingness to problem solve and innovate.
